Dani is a down-to-earth therapist with a genuine passion for meeting clients exactly where they are. Her friends would tell you she's the one who brings humor into any situation and the first person they turn to when they need grounded, thoughtful advice.
As a therapist, Dani is as real as they come. Who says a therapist can't be relaxed and professional? She knows that starting therapy for the first time (or starting over with someone new) can feel intimidating, so she works hard to create a space that feels safe, comfortable, and free of judgment.
Dani's approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered practices, all within an LGBTQIA+ affirming and trauma-informed framework. She specializes in supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, and trauma, and has a strong background in working with at-risk youth and the unhoused population. While she has experience with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental differences, her heart lies in helping people build resilience, self-acceptance, and hope through life's challenges.
When she's not in therapist mode, you'll find Dani out and about in the Minnesota outdoors with her family, or cozied up for a movie night at home. She deeply values her friendships and never passes up the chance to do something spontaneous and fun.
